An Invitation to a Free Oral History Workshop in Montreal

The Montreal Life Stories Project and Concordia’s Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling will be holding a special one day English-language training workshop on Friday January 28 for faculty, students and community-based researchers interested in our oral history interviewing methodology and ethics. It is free but folks have to reserve a place beforehand, as places are limited. Our training manual is available online.

The next French language training is to be announced.

Le projet Histoires de vie Montréal et le Centre d’histoire orale et de récits numérisés de l’Université Concordia vous invitent à une journée de formation qui aura lieu en anglais vendredi le 28 janvier 2011. Cette journée s’adresse aux professeurs, étudiants,  chercheurs et membres de la communauté qui s’intéressent aux techniques d’entrevues et aux aspects éthiques liés à l’histoire orale. Cette formation est offerte gratuitement mais les places sont limitées et seront attribuées aux premiers inscrits. Notre manuel de formation est disponible en ligne.
