Her research is driven by interest in migrations and communities, settler colonialism and state formation in the British Empire, and specializes in Scottish migration. She is currently pursuing her MA in History at Concordia University, where she earned a Graduate Diploma in Communication Studies in 2023. Having moved to Canada from France when she was a teenager, Caroline has developed a particular interest in learning about Canadian migration history. A historian of labour and migration, Dunsworth has been investigating migrant farm labour in Canada for some 15 years.
