Welcome to Active History on Display

History for the 21st Century.

Active History on Display is a digital history project that explores the pasts of migrant and immigrant communities whose stories are often left out of – or flattened by – conventional narratives.

Active History on Display is a project of Activehistory.ca, in partnership with McGill University, Carleton University, the Asian Canadian and Asian Migration Studies program at the University of British Columbia, and HistoireEngagée.ca. The project is funded in part by the Government of Canada. It also received financial support from the Canadian Historical Association and the Canadian Committee on Labour History.
