One of Canada’s most successful land use studies, the Inuit Land Use and Occupancy Project (ILUOP) was essential to the establishment of Nunavut. It demonstrated that Canada’s Arctic is home to vibrant ecosystems where residents practice their culture and follow traditions passed down through countless generations.
